Terms of Service

1. The service

Artificl LLC ("Artificl", "we") provides web applications that track documents, credentials and expiration dates, send reminder emails you switch on, and can optionally be connected to an AI assistant of your choice. Each app is a separate product with its own subscription.

2. Plans, trials and billing

• Plans and prices are listed on the pricing page. Prices are per company, per app, and exclude sales tax where it applies.
• Every plan begins with a 14-day free trial. After the trial the plan renews monthly or annually, as you chose, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your settings or by emailing us; the plan ends at the close of the current period. If a renewal charges you by mistake, tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.

3. Your records are yours

You own the records you enter or import. We don't sell them, we don't use them to train AI models, and we don't access them except to run the service for you, at your request, or as the law requires. You can export everything as CSV at any time, including after you cancel.

4. What we ask of you

• Give us accurate account information and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
• Only upload records you are entitled to hold, and don't upload protected health information — the apps are not built for it and we do not sign business associate agreements.
• Don't try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to send unlawful or unwanted email.
• You are responsible for the people you add to your company and for anything an AI assistant you connect does with the access you give it.

5. AI assistants

Connecting an assistant is optional. Assistant connections start read-only; a company owner may enable writes. Your relationship with the assistant's provider is between you and them and is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for what an assistant says or does, only for what our apps expose to it, which is recorded in your activity log.

6. Not compliance, legal or insurance advice

Artificl apps help you see what is expiring. They do not determine which documents you must keep, whether a certificate is adequate, or whether you are in compliance with any law, regulation or contract. Those decisions remain yours.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and will tell you about planned maintenance where we can. We may improve or change features over time; if we ever discontinue an app, we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

8. Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, Artificl's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including missed deadlines, fines, claims or lost business.

9. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why and, where reasonable, giving you a chance to fix it. Either way, you keep the right to export your records.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us. We may update them; material changes will be emailed to account holders and dated at the top.
