Why this exists

Every trade has a folder — sometimes literal, usually a spreadsheet — of documents that expire: a subcontractor's insurance certificate, a driver's medical card, a hood-cleaning report, a prescriber's DEA registration. Nobody is paid to watch that folder. It gets opened when an auditor, an adjuster or an inspector asks for it, which is exactly the wrong moment.

The big compliance platforms solve this for enterprises with per-seat pricing, sales calls and six-month rollouts. Artificl solves it for a septic operator with four trucks, a GC with a dozen subs, a clinic with nine prescribers. One board, sorted by what bites first, with the renewal chasing done for you. The name

Say it out loud: art-if-I-see-el. "Art if I command line." Whatever you have — a spreadsheet, a folder, an export — goes in; an AI decision is made against the real record; an optimized pattern comes back out. The command line is your assistant. The art is a board that's always in order.

Why "your AI can operate it" is the whole idea

Most people don't want another login. They want to ask "which vendors can't work this week?" and get an answer they can trust. Artificl apps are built from the start to be operated by an assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or a local model on your own machine — through an open standard called MCP.

The part that matters more than the connection is the restraint. An assistant connected to an Artificl app starts read-only. It sees only a handful of named actions for that one app. Every question it asks is written to the same activity log as a human click. Writes exist, but they are off until the owner of the company turns them on. We think that's the only responsible way to hand an AI the keys to a record that an inspector might ask about.

How the company works

One person. The founder writes the software, imports your data, connects your assistant and answers support@artificl.us. There is no sales team and no tier of support you have to climb.
One engine, many apps. Every Artificl app is a thin configuration on a shared platform, so a fix or a new capability lands in all of them at once, and a new trade is usually days of work.
Your record, your export. The app is the system of record, and the record is yours. Export everything as CSV any time; if you leave, take it with you.
Honest scope. These are recordkeeping tools, not compliance advice, and they are not built for patient data. We say so on every page rather than in the fine print.

Background

Artificl's founder comes from enterprise IT — contact-center engineering, integrations and infrastructure for companies that run on uptime — and formed Artificl LLC in Michigan in 2026. Every app follows the same pattern: find one trade's folder of expiring paperwork, build the smallest tool that keeps it current, and make sure an AI assistant can work it without breaking anything.
